Hey there and welcome to US History!
A little about me...
I was born in NJ but raised in AZ since I was 6 (Mesa and Gilbert). I graduated from the Gilbert School District and attended Arizona State University (GO SUN DEVILS!). I graduated in 2008 with a BA in Secondary Education and History. I went on to teach World and American History in Mesa at Skyline HS for 5 years. I also coached the Academic Decathlon team (top 15 in State each year). In my last year there, my husband and I welcomed our first baby boy. I decided to resign from teaching at the end of the 2013-14 school year to focus on family and motherhood. In that time, we moved from Gilbert to the north valley. I was so excited to join the Goldwater family when our youngest started kindergarten. I'm also a group fitness instructor at Mountainside Fitness (anything not choreographed or on a bike!).
Our boys attend Norterra Canyon (Go Pirates!); 5th and 2nd grade. They love Minecraft, camping, and Legos. My husband is a software engineer for the federal government and also loves video games, camping, and Legos :)
