MARK YOUR CALENDAR! Middle School Back to School Night will be TUESDAY, July 30th 7th Grade Orientation will be from 4:30—5:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. Only 7th grade parents and students need to be in attendance for this orientation.
From 5:00-5:45 p.m. all 7th and 8th grade parents and students will have the opportunity to walk through their student’s schedule and briefly visit their classrooms at their own pace. (Schedules will be mailed home prior to July 30th)

I am so excited to be part of the Highland Lake's family! This is my first year at HLS, but I have been in education for 18 years, serving students and families in various communities. Over those 18 years, I have been a classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach, Professional Development Facilitator, & an Assistant Principal.
This school year, I will be serving students in the Highland Lakes Bear Cave! I will also be working with students as a Read 180 Instructor for middle school students.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family doing all things active. My son, who also attends HLS, and I like to hike and do fun runs together. I have 2 boys, ages 1 and 6 that keep me pretty busy! I have been married to my husband, Robert for 10 years. He and I enjoy watching movies and going out for nice dinners together.
I am looking forward to a fantastic 23-24 school year here at Highland Lakes!
