Hello Trailblazers! I am excited to be back for my 4th year at Vista Peak. I have previously taught at 2 other schools within the district. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Special Education and Elementary Education in 2013. I also earned a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction: Autism Spectrum Disorders from ASU in 2017. I look forward to working with your student this year!
I am originally from Albuquerque, NM, but have lived all over the western United States including Utah, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, and Arizona. We have been in Arizona for the past 15 years. I live in New River with my husband of 27 years and our youngest child. We have 4 kids and 2 grandsons. Our daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids live Tucson. We have 2 sons in college and a son in high school. As a family, we love to travel, hike and 4-wheel in the desert, and are always up for a Harry Potter movie marathon.
