Welcome to my "about me" page. My name is Rose Harvey. I attended and graduated from Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin with a Bachelors Degree. I have been teaching since 2004.  Twelve of my years of teaching were at Sunrise Elementary School at 6th grade level. Math and Science is where I have spent the most time teachingl. I am always excited to be at Canyon Springs. What an amazing school!! What an amazing STAFF!! WHAT amazing STUDENTS!! What AMAZING Parents!!

 

I have been married to a wonderful man for the last 29 years.  Together we have raised 2 amazing children. Amber is 27 years old, working on a degree in finance and working for an amazing  bank.  Sebastian is 24 and graduated from Deer Valley High School in 2017. He is currently working in restaurant management.  We also have a very intelligent and spoiled Belgian Malinois Service Dog named Tate.  We just adopted a new puppy, an Akita. His name is Remi LeBeau. We have a 200 gallon salt water aquarium that is home to 5 fish. They are a Picasso Trigger, 2 Clown Tomatoes, a Sail Fin Tang, and an Asian Angel Fish.

 

I love to go for walks.  I read voratiously from many genres, right now I am enjoying mysteries. I also like to corchet and play games.  I love to explore new places from small towns in Arizona to the coasts of Costa Rica, Argentina, China, Ireland and beyond.  The thing I treasure most is the time I can spend with my family.
