Hello West Wing Staff and Families! I’m Ms. Gieber, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with you this year! Things may be a little crazy, now and then, as we navigate through the school year raising amazing young citizens together, but I look forward to taking on any challenges that come our way as a team! As Maya Angelou once said, “Do the best you can until you know better, then when you know better, do better.”

As for my background, I was raised in Colorado, but I have lived in Arizona most of my life. I earned my Bachelor of Education degree from Ottawa University, my Master’s Degree from Northern Arizona University, and I have been teaching for 28 years. I am certified as a gifted specialist, a reading specialist, and I hold an SEI endorsement to support second language learners. I have worked with students of varying ability levels, needs and backgrounds, from Kindergarten through 6th grade, and I have been extremely blessed to grow through my experiences with each child and family I have encountered.

I have two amazing children, Amanda, 27, Connor, 19, who I love to the moon and back, and I have two completely goofy but sweet dogs, Penni and Crusoe. I enjoy walking, hiking and reading to calm my brain, and I love to get into shenanigans making soap, building or repurposing household items, painting, home repair, and just hanging out for giggles with my crazy sister, kids, family and friends. I look forward to hearing about the amazing and fun students, staff and families of West Wing School, and I thank you all in advance for welcoming me into the Mustang Herd.
