Meet Mr. White!
Mr. White is excited to join the SSR team! After 9 years in the Littleton Elementary School District teaching music, choir and theater, he knew he’d be back in the Deer Valley Unified district after student teaching there 10 years ago (Stetson Hills and Deer Valley High School). Teaching children to sing is his passion, and Mr. White has much experience with running a successful choir program with hundreds of students. Being very good at switching the "on and off switches between silly and stern", students in his classrooms often describe the learning environment as being fun and structured. At his core, Mr. White is a goofball and students are quick to point out his mild and playful temperament. Our learning is no joke though, and Mr. White will hold the Hawks to great academic and performing standards. In his free time, he loves to read, hike and bother his wife, Shelbe.
