• A note from our Middle School Athletic Directors

Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) provides its middle school student athletes with multiple opportunities to compete throughout the school year.

In 2022-23, we changed the order of our seasons so that we could align with our neighboring districts to offer more athletic opportunities for our students. Not only do we have the opportunity for postseason regional championships, but we are now opening up in-season tournaments hosted by high schools throughout all three districts (Dysart, Peoria and DVUSD).

We also needed to make a change to the order of our seasons due to the fact that we had been experiencing a shortage of game officials in previous years when the sports seasons coincided with the high school seasons. By making this change, we had one of our best years with regards to official coverage!

Both the high school athletic directors and the middle school district athletic directors believe that the current seasonal format is the best for the long term development of our athletic program.

The continuation of our current season schedule will allow us to continue and grow our partnership with the Peoria and Dysart Districts, as well as allow us to continue to build our connections between the middle schools and high schools within our own district. As our middle schools compete outside of the high school seasons, this will allow for high school coaches and assistant coaches to become more involved with our middle school programs.

As we continue to move forward in partnership with our high schools and neighboring districts, our goal is to provide as many athletic opportunities for our students within DVUSD. We look forward to a great 2023-24 school year!

    ATHLETIC FEES FOR 2023-2024

In 2016-2017 the Deer Valley Unified School District faced another year of reduced funding by the State Legislature. As a result, and in an effort to balance the district’s budget, the 成人视频色情片Governing Board had approved an athletic fee for the 2016-2017 school year. This fee will continue to be applied towards the 2022-2023 school year. The approved fee is in compliance with legislation passed in 1995, A.R.S. 15-342.24, enabling schools to assess reasonable fees for optional extra-curricular activities and programs. The purpose of the athletic fee is to provide revenue to maintain and operate athletic programs, which exceeds $2,000,000 per year, for 7th-8th grade and high school students. These fees collected will help defray the expenses of operating the 成人视频色情片athletic programs.

    Grading Policy and Eligibility

Grade checks will occur once a week on a day selected by each individual school. All students must maintain a 2, 3, 4 or D and above in each of their classes.

Second grade check a student has a 1, 0, or F in any classes they are now ineligible status. The student may attend practices, the student may not attend away games, but may attend home games, but will not
