Welcome to the Mountain Ridge Media Center

    Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.

    Our Philosophy

It is the goal of the library to promote information literacy to our students. Information literacy is defined as the ability to find and use information and is the keystone of lifelong learning. Today's library has moved beyond a room of books to become an active, technology-rich learning environment. We strive to offer services, technology and programs that support students, staff and the school community with the most effective and current research methods for both print and digital resources.

The mission of the MRHS Library/Media staff is to work collaboratively with teachers and students to support academics, to promote reading for pleasure and information, and to prepare our community of learners with life-long skills necessary to be competent, critical, ethical, and independent seekers and users of information.

The mission of Mountain Ridge High School is to provide real world connections within
highly engaging classrooms that prepares graduates to meet the rigors and demands of 21st century global citizens.
