My name is Debra Thompson, and I am a proud graduate of Arizona State University where I earned my M.S. in Geology and M.Ed. in secondary science. I have been teaching secondary science since 2017. Prior to 2017, I spent 10 years working as a professional geologist in both Arizona and Canada. My experience as a geologist has given me a lot of insight into the types of skills and requirements students will need in order to be successful in the future.
